PROGRAMS :: CPR / AED
A large number of deaths are due to cardiovascular disease, 60 – 70% die before reaching
a hospital, often within 2 hours. The community can help reduce these numbers by learning CPR.
There are 4 types of
courses available: Infant, Child, Adult CPR and AED (Automated
External Defibrillator). The course material will consist of:
- Chain of Survival
- Emergency Actions
- Checking a conscious/unconscious victim
- Choking conscious/unconscious victim
- Rescue Breathing
- Signs of circulation
- Signs and symptoms of a heart attack
- CPR
All courses are free to the public. Since we are a volunteer
team we do appreciate donations. Materials such as books,
certification cards and mouth barriers are at a small charge.
These courses are designed to teach you 1st aid and CPR so
unless you want a book or need a certification card for
work/school, the course is FREE. CPR and 1st aid for Day care
workers is available, call for prices.
